Gravity Conveyor

Gravity conveyorGravity conveyor: is ideally suited to handling operations which cannot justify the expense of powered equipment. They provide efficient handling at negligible costs. Gravity conveyors are also very easy to set up, dismantle or relocate. Stock conveyor frames are available in 1500mm and 3000mm lengths punched every 39.5mm, therefore allowing pitches of 79mm, 118.5mm and 158mm. Gravity rollers are available in PVC, Medium heavy duty steel, Polypropylene, Heavy duty steel and Stainless steel.  Standard frame widths at 304mm wide, 458mm wide and 607mm wide.

Conveyor roller specifications

Heavy duty black steel tube rollers x 2.3mm wall with 12mm mild steel spring loaded shaft rated at 200Kg capacity, standard sizes are: 240mm over bearing (OB), 394mm OB and 547mm OB

Medium heavy duty black steel tube rollers x 1.6mm wall with 9.5mm mild steel spring loaded shaft rated at 136Kg capacity, standard sizes are: 240mm OB, 394mm OB and 543mm OB

PVC tube or Polypropylene tube rollers with 9.5mm mild steel spring loaded shaft rated at 25Kg capacity, standard sizes are: 240mm OB, 394mm OB and 543mm OB

Conveyor supports specifications

  • Solid RHS construction
  • Conveyor support bolts to floor and conveyor frames bolt to supports for added stability and strength of the conveyor system
  • Standard adjustment is from 600mm – 900mm offering a total height of 1000mm to top of roller when assembled

Conveyor frame specifications

  • 90mm x 30mm x 2.5mm mild steel channel, blaze blue finish as standard
  • Supplied with butt ends as standard so that frames can be bolted together for added strength
  • Frames have welded joiner bars

Custom manufactured gravity conveyor rollers:  Gravity conveyor rollers can be custom manufactured to suit any length you require.  When ordering custom manufactured rollers to suit an existing frame, the inside frame measurement should be quoted to ensure the rollers are manufactured to the exact length you require.

Powered and Belt Conveyors
Powered roller conveyors

Powered roller conveyors are ideally suited to horizontal movements yet can accommodate small elevation changes. The system allows for easy side loading/unloading, both manually and mechanically. It can be integrated with automatic diverters and the like to provide a wide range of materials handling solutions. Conveyors can be chain driven, belt driven or lineshaft driven. There are various methods available which can be utilised to provide accumulation and/or singulation of product for manufacturing, assembly or processing operations.

Belt conveyors suit the movement of goods on flat or elevated surfaces where the speed of travel and the spacing of goods requires control. They play an important role in the manufacturing process including the transport of raw materials and components to assembly, and the materials handling and shipping of finished products. Belt conveyors are flexible and can be designed to be either fixed, portable or telescoping for either horizontal applications or inclined or declined between floors and mezzanines providing a link between multi-floor systems. Product size and weight is taken into account when designing belt conveyors. The width of the belt and the angle of incline determine the most suitable drive system and the composition of the belt. Expert design is important for selecting the right belt conveyor for your requirements. Our experienced staff will design a belt conveyor system for your particular manufacturing or materials handling solutions.
