Gravity Conveyor

Gravity conveyor

Gravity conveyor is ideally suited to handling operations which cannot justify the expense of powered equipment. They provide efficient handling at negligible costs. Gravity conveyors are also very easy to set up, dismantle or relocate.

Medium heavy duty gravity conveyor frames are kept in stock and are available in 1500mm and 3000mm lengths, standard frame widths are 304mm wide, 458mm wide and 607mm wide (the over frame measurement).

Medium heavy duty gravity conveyor frames are constructed from 90mm x 30mm x 2.5mm mild steel channel. The gravity conveyor frames are manufactured in Australia.  The frames can be factory made to suit any nominated width and length.

Standard sized medium heavy duty frames are hole punched every 39.5mm which allows roller pitches of 79mm, 118.5mm and 158mm. Cross bars on the conveyor frames are fully welded (not bolted together), they are supplied with a painted blaze blue finish and butting plates which allow multiple frames to be bolted together.

Gravity rollers kept in stock to suit medium heavy duty gravity conveyor frames are available in Polypropylene, Medium heavy duty black steel, Medium heavy duty galvanized steel. Standard roller specifications are:

Conveyor supports
Solid RHS construction
Painted blaze blue finish
Conveyor frames can be bolted to the supports,  supports can be bolted to the floor for added stability and strength of the conveyor system
Standard sized conveyor supports kept in stock have an adjustment from 600mm – 900mm offering a minimum height of 700mm and a maximum height of 1000mm (to top of roller) when the conveyor system is fully assembled and extended
Larger supports can be made to order with an adjustment from 1016mm – 1524mm offering a minimum height of 1116mm and a maximum height of 1625mm (to top of roller) when the conveyor system is fully assembled and extended
Conveyor supports can be manufactured to suit castors so that the conveyor system is mobile
Conveyor supports are a kept in stock to suit 304mm, 458mm and 607mm wide frames

Powered and Belt Conveyors
Powered roller conveyors

Powered roller conveyors are ideally suited to horizontal movements yet can accommodate small elevation changes. The system allows for easy side loading/unloading, both manually and mechanically. It can be integrated with automatic diverters and the like to provide a wide range of materials handling solutions. Conveyors can be chain driven, belt driven or lineshaft driven. There are various methods available which can be utilised to provide accumulation and/or singulation of product for manufacturing, assembly or processing operations.

Belt conveyors suit the movement of goods on flat or elevated surfaces where the speed of travel and the spacing of goods requires control. They play an important role in the manufacturing process including the transport of raw materials and components to assembly, and the materials handling and shipping of finished products. Belt conveyors are flexible and can be designed to be either fixed, portable or telescoping for either horizontal applications or inclined or declined between floors and mezzanines providing a link between multi-floor systems. Product size and weight is taken into account when designing belt conveyors. The width of the belt and the angle of incline determine the most suitable drive system and the composition of the belt. Expert design is important for selecting the right belt conveyor for your requirements. Our experienced staff will design a belt conveyor system for your particular manufacturing or materials handling solutions.
