For larger but lighter trolleys, for longer distances, good resilience, rough surfaces.

The lighter fork (220 and 265mm wheels) is designed as a lighter capacity fork as an economical towing solution. The heavier fork used on the 400mm wheels is a strong and rugged solution to outdoor usage. The legs are continuously welded to the head race and grease nipples are fitted as standard. The legs have more offset than normal, so they tow better.

Pneumatic tyres have high resilience, so are used where trolleys are pushed out of doors, or on crockery trolleys to reduce noise, but can deflate. Grey tyres do NOT mark. (Warning: black tyres can leave bad stains on indoor floors.)
Solid rubber is used when you want the same performance as a pneumatic, but the load is greater. Solid wheels are also for use where you can not afford punctures such as fire fighting equipment, or outdoor equipment away from tyre pumping stations.
