This series
has for many years been widely used in hospitals, institutions, cafeterias,
laboratories, etc.
The
special zinc plated finish has a good appearance on chrome and stainless
steel trolleys, and has good rust resistance in normal use (for corrosive
conditions see also "Stainless
Steel Castors" and "Chemical
Resistance Chart").
The fork revolves between two complete rows of balls for maximum ease
of swivel. |

| The
most commonly used fitting in this series is the expanding stem. For normal
use this consists of nylon mouldings which are tightly locked on the inside
of a tube by simply screwing up the stem by its nut. Other mountings available
are Bolt Hole, Plate or Solid Stem. Total Brake or Directional Lock can
be fitted. |

Choosing
the right castor
- firstly select the wheel code from the MODEL column eg MTQ125G
- then the castor frame from one of the next five columns eg MTQ125G/MZP
- brake or directional lock? Select TB or DL from final columns eg MTQ125G/MZPTB
(not available on rigid). |

|
The rigid
plate (F) mounts 3mm lower than the swivel plate (P).
Where this is a concern we can supply a 3mm spacer plate (PLTMSPCZ) free
of charge - request at order time. |
