| History of Fallshaw |
|
The
History of Fallshaw Castor making began after Robert joined Fallshaw in 1960, and soon became the biggest part of the business. In 1972, the factory moved from its inner city location to a much larger site in Sunshine, 14km west of Melbourne city. This site has allowed for consistent growth, with spare land for further expansion. The 1990's
have seen great progress. Increases in metal pressing and injection moulding
capabilities, as well as a new training centre, have led to great improvements
in both quality and productivity. In 1993 the company gained accreditation
to ISO9002, and to ISO9001 in 1995. In 2001 Fallshaw moved to ISO9001:2000. |
